Exotic Aquatic Tank Maintenance Charges For Lake County Indiana:
If your tank has not been cleaned in a long time and its a disaster in my opinion the price could be more but you will be informed of that before I start and as soon as its back to normal then the prices go back down to regular charges. Also if you are in another county then that does not mean your prices will be higher. There are some towns extremely close to me that are in a completely different state so do not think that your cost will be any higher than what this chart says.
Does not include cost of supplies (premixed salted RO water, filter pads, ext.). |

RO water with salt premixed is an extra $1.25 a gallon. If you do not have a unit we will deliver the premixed RO water with us. Most of our clients have us come once a month to service their tanks but it is up to you how often you want us to come. I will give you my honest opinion how often I feel your tank needs to be serviced and then you can decide for yourself. If we come more than once a month then the labor price can at times be negotiable.
We will go just about anywhere to service a tank for a fair wage for the time and distance it takes to get there. We are currently going all the way to Culver Indiana so expect we will come to you. The reason people pay us to go that far is because they know they can trust us to be honest with them and experienced enough to keep their livestock alive through their full life cycle.
The main reason people like having us come take care of the labor on their tank is to rent our eyes. If there is a problem with the tank we should be able to catch it just by the way the fish are acting or look. Like any fish tank owner would tell you, it is vital to catch a disease in the tank as soon as possible. The sooner you catch it, the better the odds are to fix it without fatalities. Also they know that there is less chance of something going wrong if we are there. I will give you an example of what I mean. Say you turn off your pump in your sump and do your water change and your pump is getting a little older and when you are done and you turn on the pump it does nothing. We will be there for such a crisis and be able to fix the pump or put on a replacement. Most stores do not carry larger size pumps instock and even if we are out at that given time we always have spares to put on your tank untill your new one comes in. If you sit and think about it there is a million different what ifs just like that one. Last but not least, some people just do not have the time to take care of a saltwater or freshwater tank but have always wanted one. With me coming over to take care of the tank the only thing they would have to do is feed the fish and maybe add medicine if a fish gets sick.
